Most of the year, your file just sits there.

Tuesday in July.

An invoice clears. You open the file, log the income, close it. Forty seconds. Then it goes back to being a file in a folder.

Late January.

A 1099-NEC arrives in the mail. You open last year's file, find the client, the number matches what you logged. Two minutes. The form goes in the tax pile.

December 31.

You log the last expense of the year, save the file, close it. The folder is the same folder it was last December. Nothing to migrate. Nothing to renew.

Questions, answered.

Where does my financial data live?

On your computer. The file is saved wherever you save files: Documents, Desktop, a drive you choose. It doesn't leave your machine unless you move it. There's no server, no account, no way for anyone else to see what you've logged.

What if Salty Pixel goes out of business?

The file you've already downloaded keeps working. It's a self-contained HTML page; opening it doesn't ping our server or check any license. If we disappeared tomorrow, your dashboard opens the same way it opens today.

Will future versions cost extra?

Small fixes and minor updates to the version you bought are included. Future major versions (a v2.0) aren't promised free, because we don't know yet what'll be in them. Whatever happens with v2.0, the version you have today keeps working.

Does this work outside the US?

Right now, TaliiVue is built around US self-employment: quarterly estimated taxes, 1099-NEC handling, the categories the IRS recognizes. The dashboard itself works anywhere, but the tax features assume US filing. Outside the US, it works as a generic income and expense tracker without the tax-specific helpers.

What's your refund policy?

If TaliiVue isn't what you expected, email us within 14 days and we'll refund you, no questions. Gumroad processes the refund directly. There's no clawback on the file: keep it, delete it, do whatever.
